"The straw that broke the camel's back"

    I'm that camel.

Loss of control with the descent in respect
a wave of responsibility bore the signed contract
to watch things decay with neverending malice
to down fine liqueur in a lonely solace

A building stands the winds, mighty and tall
but remove the foundations, and it too will fall
a place in altitude it must forgo
the sound of bricklaying coming tommorrow

Perched on the highbeam, the horizon abounds
yet the distance to the light, the poor man rebounds
the testimony of time wearing him down
breaking his knees, inching to the ground

In a month's time, only he himself can tell
whether it was a farce or all things well
a failure in name is but a failure in game
but a failure in life is not much the same

As the clouds brew heavily, engulfing the sky
the situation is dire, to do or to die
to sit by the side or to sob and cry
its an invitation to the end; It just means GoodBye...

there seems to be nothing for me left...

    And I realized...
    + + +
