it took a eon to forge it all
yet a passing of a second to watch it fall
the slabs of sweat and blood encased within
were now boundless with no due mean
the torment of time torching the intangible
fell flat to the desires of the material

a desire to break free from the past
but all that remained would be ground up dust
a stranger walking throughout the endless plains
peering through everything, with not any gains.
he bids goodnite to the cold hungry world
in his dreams for the long lost girl

on one day he went for a hunt
but fell victim to the bullet of a gun
the countless shots that he once endured
counted for nothing, from the wound the blood poured
drained of physical and mental strength
tears of helplessness filling the banks

a long way stood for the lonely old man
with nothing around him, but cold bloody sand
in this hostile environment, he stood crumbling
nothing went well, as far as it was going
only one thing shone true for him, and the word was hope
but the light was fading fast, than what he could have coped
it heralded the end of the long drawn chapter
many things had happened, and soon ceased to matter...

    does it matter once more?

    And I realized...
