i could dare say that some of the interviewees had MUCH BETTER stats than BOTH OF YOU do.

responsibility

willingness to accept criticism
ability to LISTEN to OTHER'S instruction
ability to carry out instructions
creativity

PASSION

i dont see ANY of these qualities in BOTH OF YOU, even if i look through a freaking electron microscope.
sure, BOTH OF YOU may not have wanted to be in such a position, but as LEADERS, people look up to you as examples, and

"DO WHAT YOU LIKE, LIKE WHAT YOU DO"
if you cant get what you want, do your best in w/e you get.

if you cant come for the interview, SAY SO
if YOUR meeting ended early, SAY SO

i don't see how hard it is to DRAG your ASS to level 6 in 45minutes.

BOTH OF YOU are screwing up things without you actually knowing it. many a times, SOMEONE has to cover up for BOTH OF YOU. and in the end, this SOMEONE actually gets blamed and feels responsible for the ERRORS of BOTH OF YOU, which is like F***ing unfair
